About TechEd Notes

This is the blog of Ron Sanders, Vice President for Student Learning at Texas State Technical College Waco. Although the subject of the blog is technical education and regularly includes information about TSTC Waco, it should go without saying that the views expressed herein are the author’s alone and not those of TSTC Waco.

(I said it anyway to make certain there was no mistake.) This website project is financed with personal funds and is not sponsored by TSTC. Having said that, I am not ashamed of anything I have written here (except for grammar, style, and spelling) and my boss is welcome to read it. I often stray into other directly or tangentially related subjects - technology and geek stuff especially. After all, it is my blog.

Your comments are encouraged. This is all about free speech. If you think I am wrong or right about something, let me know. Even if we disagree, well reasoned arguments are always appreciated. All comments are moderated, so spam and foul ad hominem diatribes will be consigned to the nether regions of cyberspace (just below the ninth circle).

    Ron,

    I took some time this afternoon to read many of your posts. Your blog is full of timely information, thoughtful analysis and useful links. Really great stuff. I look forward to reading more.

    Thanks. I think it is mostly blather, but I appreciate the kinds words. I have enjoyed writing it and found it to be therapeutic. Best of all, I have met some new friends.

    I’m not sure how to take that. Do you mean that you didn’t know I had that much effluent in me? I don’t believe that!

    Thanks for the good word. I will be sure to send for one of your clear, concise, and revelatory charts in “the near future” (geologic time scale).
